OUR TEAM

Mediactive is an independent media planning and buying company in Alberta that is fully owned and operated without ties to a non-Albertan company.  The company was established by and is fully owned and operated by Kevin Menshik.

The Edmonton office of Mediactive currently has a staff of five full-time media professionals and two part-time accounting personnel.

Recently, Mediactive opened a Calgary office, which employs two senior staff members with a total of over 50 years experience.

Kevin Menshik, Director, is responsible for new business development, client liaison, as well as some senior level media planning.  Kevin oversees the operations of both offices.

Karen Simpson is responsible for bookkeeping and media administration and Lori Menshik manages most accounting liaison activities, plays back-up to Karen on media administration as well as handling office management duties.

Edmonton Office
Chyrisse Dekker, Media Director – Edmonton:  Chyrisse manages media planning and buying for the Edmonton operation and is heavily involved with strategic planning, media planning and some media buying.  She also supervises the media planning / buying staff and delegates project work.

Tania Nease, Media Buyer – Edmonton:  Tania implements some broadcast, print, outdoor, online and other buying, as well as some media planning.  Tania currently spends a lot of effort on planning research as well as buying.

Josh Allen, Media Coordinator – Edmonton:  Josh aids all Edmonton staff in their work, while also implementing some broadcast, print and other buying.

Chris Turnbull, Media Planner / Buyer – Calgary:   Chris works alongside Susan and handles some project management and a lot of media planning and buying work for the Calgary office.
